About Us

Coastal Cruises began trading as South Coast Cruises in June 1986. Its primary intention was to take visitors along the south coast of Jersey to show them bays and views, gun emplacements and armaments up on the cliffs left by the occupying German forces during World War II and of course the very famous Corbiere Lighthouse.

We originally began with an open boat called Pride of the Bay but have now upgraded to a more modern vessel where passengers can be if needed undercover and therefore we can still operate in inclement weather conditions.

Our new vessel is called The Southern Bay Rose formally The Condor Kestrel, she was originally built for Condor Ferries Ltd. and operated out of Guernsey and Sark, she was later sold to a Torquay Co. where she operated as a ferry to and from Brixham.

After bringing her to Jersey we carried out a major refit which included fitting all new panoramic windows, comfortable seating, access for wheelchairs, bar facilities and new toilets.

The Southern Bay Rose has a license to carry up to a hundred passengers plus 3 crew members for our daily cruises and we can cater for up to sixty passengers for private parties.

The Vessel complies fully with all safety regulations as laid down by the MCA UK. and the Jersey Harbour Office.
