About Us

Florida pools and spas is a long-established local business that has been servicing islanders in Jersey since 1969.

The company has been under my sole ownership since 2004 when I purchased the company from my father, the founder.

I am proud to still look after many of those original clients from the 70’s that assisted in building the business. In fact the pool as pictured in the 1972 advert we have since been changed into an indoor pool, undertaken two liner refurbishments and is still serviced fortnightly by my maintenance team.

Today, I ensure that my company maintains its place as the market leader by continually reviewing all new products available, allowing me to offer all my clients innovative pool and spa solutions.

My core team have been with the company for many years with Jon Roberts, General Manager, notching up over two decades of loyal service. I believe the long stable history of employment my company exhibits offers reassurance and peace of mind for my clients.

In early 2010, listening to my client’s needs, I opened a showroom at Five Oaks where I was able to stock equipment and chemicals for both pool and spas and offer a convenient location for anyone to pop in and receive informative friendly advice.

The opening of the showroom allowed Florida Pools and Spas to showcase the range of Jacuzzis I have been selling in the island since 1989.

Since those early days my company has gone from strength to strength and now does more than simply build swimming pools and supply spas. As well as working with local respected architects we offer our own in house pool design service, with all secured contracts being undertaken by our own staff. On completion my maintenance division offers a full range of services to ensure that your pool and spa maintains its prestigious condition. When the time comes for your pool or spa to be refurbished, we employ the specialist staff that have the equipment and knowledge to update and modernise.
